International conductor, composer and consultant for choral conducting and choral voice training. Franz M. Herzog is currently department head of the choral conducting course at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory and lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He was one of the artistic directors at the 5th World Choir Games and the World Choir Championships in Graz. From 2012 to 2015 Herzog was the artistic director of the Austrian Choral Association. In 2015 he founded and directed the Austrian National Youth Choir. Since 2014 Herzog has been the artistic director of the Voices of Spirit Festival. Internationally renowned choirs perform his compositions.
